The area became known for the mineral waters used in various therapies, the first captures of mineral waters being made in 1932 when the first two springs were arranged. The most important healing factor is sulfated, bicarbonate, chloro-magnesium, sodium, hypotonic and athermal mineral waters.

Bizuşa locality is part of Ileanda commune, Sălaj county.
Ileanda - the village residents of the commune located at a distance of over 60 km from the municipality of Zalău, is mentioned for the first time under the name of Ilandameze in 1390. The other localities of the commune, including Bizuşa-Băi, are mentioned in documents between the centuries XIV -XVII.
The most important natural healing factor of the Bizusa resort is the bicarbonate, chloro-magnesium, sodium, hypotonic and athermal sulphate mineral waters, recommended for external treatment and ingestion.
